Who We Are

Litter Works is a new organization committed to working on innovative ways to improve the chronic litter problems that plague our western states.  Litter Works is a litter abatement service that aims to fill a gap between what municipalities, nonprofits and volunteers can achieve with their existing litter abatement manpower.   Founder Erik Johnson is a former landscape design/installation/maintenance contractor who also has deep experience in the staffing industry.  Our services are available to municipalities as well as private companies, resorts, event companies and through the Sponsor-A-Highway programs in both California and Nevada.  We provide before-and-after photos of each clean up, which can be used on social media to provide public awareness of the county's efforts with litter mitigation. 

Litter Works donates to conservation groups such as The Wilderness Society, The Nature Conservancy and CalWild.
